American Wigeon Male
Male American Wigeon at Reid Park, Tucson, AZ. It is always a challenge to get the lighting correct in order to light up the eye(s) and the plumage color. That green on the head of the American Wigeon is really tricky and can only be seen when the light hits is exactly at the correct angle. Almost as difficult as humming birds.
